Dolphins' Jaylen Waddle Shatters NFL Rookie Receptions Record
Miami Gardens, Fla. - Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle made history on Sunday, breaking the NFL rookie record for receptions in a single season.
Record-Breaking Performance
In the Dolphins' 26-20 victory over the New York Jets, Waddle hauled in 10 receptions for 96 yards, including a key first-down reception on the team's game-winning drive.
"It's an honor to break the record," Waddle said after the game. "I couldn't have done it without my teammates and coaches."
Former Record Holder
Waddle surpassed the previous rookie record of 101 receptions, set by Anquan Boldin in 2003.
